The Vampire Diaries is back! After an explosive end to season 6 of The Vampire Diaries, the cast have been filming for the following season which will be on our TVs very soon! The story continues on to show how all of the characters carry on with their lives and how characters (mainly Damon) cope with the loss of Elena in different ways.
There’s been major speculation in the fandom on Nina Dobrev’s exit from the show with many fans being extremely disappointed. They feel that the loss of the main character will result in the downfall of the show. Maybe, after all, Defan will be endgame? We’ll just have to wait and see!
However, there is still a rollercoaster of events we are yet to see in this next season that we can’t wait to sink our teeth into!
The Vampire Diaries spin-off show, The Originals, is also due a come back very soon on Syfy to see the next installment (Season 3) of what’s going on with the Mikaelson family in New Orleans. Make sure you catch up on the last few seasons to see the experiences the family have entailed!
The Vampire Diaries starts in the UK on Wednesday 28th October, 11pm on ITV2.
