Ahead of their UK and Ireland tour which kicks off tonight, The Vamps have released a brand new single.

‘Middle of the Night’, featuring Danish DJ Martin Jensen, is the band’s latest offering and follows on from ‘All Night’ featuring Matoma.

As expected, The Vamps have delivered an infectious song which is bound to be a huge hit over the next few months. There’s some elements of the band’s anthemic sound in the song, although there’s also a clear musical evolution including growth and maturity in their lyrics. We’re obsessed with the powerful chorus which leads into an euphoric drop – we can already picture the fans going crazy on tour!

“So when I call you in the middle of the night
And I’m choking on the words ’cause I miss you
Baby, don’t tell me I’m out of time
I got so much of my loving to give you”

Take a listen to ‘Middle of the Night’ below.

The four-piece teased the track earlier this week, offering fans a first-listen via social media network musical.ly. As part of the premiere, the site is offering fans a chance to enter a competition to win a money can’t buy prize. Three winners will get a once in a lifetime meet and greet experience with the band, as well as a special private performance. In addition to this, they will be have their travel included to enjoy a VIP experience at The Vamps concert with backstage and soundcheck access ahead of the show. The winners will also have the chance to create musical.lys with the band!

The rules are simple: the competition is open to those in the US, Asia and Europe and runs until 12pm GMT on 29th April. To enter, you must create a musical.ly video featuring the 20 second clip of ‘Middle of the Night’ using #TheVampsFIRSTLISTEN. However, it must be filmed in the dark, so get those torches ready and get creative!

The Vamps kick off the UK and Ireland leg of their world tour tonight at Sheffield Arena, with support from The Tide, New Hope Club and Sabrina Carpenter.
