Vans Presents New Collab with Marvel

In 2014, Vans had a massively successful Vans x Star Wars collection, which was a collection of shoes, backpacks and apparel full of the series’ most successful characters. In 2015, they released the “Young at Heart” collection, dedicated to Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto, Goofy and Daisy Duck.

These collections, which are no longer available through the store, were extremely popular among fans of Disney. The store carried various shoe styles and character-based designs for them.

The hysteria surrounding these collections is continuing this June with the introduction of a Vans x Marvel collection being released on June 8. And as we’ve seen through previous collection releases, these items don’t last long.

Considering Avengers: Infinity War was the most anticipated Marvel movie of all time, it’s a no-brainer that Marvel would decide to team up with Vans to release a collection of this size. Disney, Marvel’s parent company, released the Star Wars collection right before the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which was one of the most anticipated Star Wars movies of all time.

The collection includes slip-ons, high-tops and even some flip flops. The designs are all from the comic book version of the characters, not the live-action ones. They are also no more expensive than a regular pair of shoes.

The collection is set to have 70 pieces of geeky items, including the items pictured above. The collection also includes Black Panther, Captain Marvel and Deadpool to name a few characters.

We’re very excited to see the entire collection (and to snag a few items for ourselves, too).
