The Fast and Furious movies are one of the most successful movie franchises. The most recent installment, Furious 7 surpassed expectations and is the sixth highest-grossing film of all time. With continuous success, it is no wonder that another movie is in the works.
For the past few months, the Fast and Furious YouTube channel released videos that showed behind-the-scenes footage of the set. A recent video shows Vin Diesel, who plays Dominic Toretto, on the set with his daughter, Hania Riley. Diesel asked whether the new movie honors the saga, to which his daughter replies, “Yes because all of you are working hard, and I think it’s gonna be a great movie.”
The video also reveals some of the cast: Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Kurt Russell, Charlize Theron, Scott Eastwood, and Kristofer Hivju.
Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Elsa Pataky, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Lucas Black will also star in the movie.
Fast 8 is filming in locations such as Iceland, New York, Atlanta and Georgia. There are also reports that the movie is filming in Russia.
The newest installment of the Fast and Furious franchise will hit theaters on April 14, 2017.
