Alessia Cara can really do it all. While making an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Cara showed off her incredible impersonation skills.
The segment, called “Wheel of Musical Impressions,” is a fan-favorite skit on the late-night show. It involves celebrities spinning the “Wheel of Musical Impressions,” which results in them having to do an impression of an artist and a popular song. Most of the time the artists and songs don’t mix, which makes the segment so fun for viewers. Celebrities that have taken part in the segment in the past have been Ariana Grande, Céline Dion, Demi Lovato, Adam Levine, and more. Cara previously took part competing against Fallon in 2017, and now she is back for a rematch.
This time, Cara did an impersonation of Billie Eilish while singing “Pop Goes The Weasel.” Before Cara sang, she said, “I’m so sorry Billie in advance, I love you.” But she had nothing to worry about because she absolutely nailed the impression. Cara sang “Pop Goes The Weasel” to the tune of “Bad Guy,” and it was perfect because Cara changed her voice to sound like Eilish’s soft tone. Cara also did an impression of Amy Winehouse while singing “Old MacDonald Had A Farm,” and if we didn’t see Cara singing the song, we would think it was actually Amy Winehouse! She also sang “Hush, Little Baby” as Alanis Morissette. Meanwhile, Jimmy Fallon sang “Rubber Duckie, You’re The One” as The Doors and “Baby Shark” as Mick Jagger.”
