The girls of Red Velvet – Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri – put their friendship to the ultimate test by participating in a trust exercise. In a video for Glamour, each member takes a turn letting themselves fall while the other four stand behind ready to catch them.
The girls were a bit nervous to fall, especially Irene, who hesitated. “She doesn’t trust us!” the members joked. But eventually, all the members had their turn and let themselves fall right into the hands of the other four.
Along with the trust falls, the Red Velvet members also took turns complimenting one another. Yeri called Joy “funny” while Irene called Wendy “very unique.” Seulgi also talked about how she’s known Irene since high school and how she considers her “family.” She even called Irene her “sister.” Awww! Watch the cute moment below.
Red Velvet recently wrapped up their North American leg of their RedMare world tour. They join a string of other K-pop acts to have tours in North America this year, such as Monsta X, BTS, and BLACKPINK.
In an interview with Billboard, Joy expressed how excited she felt being able to spread K-pop to an international audience. “We’re making K-pop a lot more known, not just in the States but across the whole world. It just makes me feel really proud,” she said.
