After teasing the video earlier this week, Vanessa White has finally unveiled the full video for her song ‘Lipstick Kisses’.
The song features Wretch 32 although he doesn’t appear in the video. The clip that Vanessa teased showed her walking moodily, shadowed by a blue background – it didn’t really give anything away.
It turns out that the video, directed by Rob Heppell, is a whole lot more sinister than we could have ever expected, with shots showing Vanessa cleaning up a crime scene in her hotel room. She then casually leaves the premises, after leaving a parcel to be delivered.
We are left tearing our hair out – what happened? Who was involved? It’s totally left our imaginations running wild with different theories. We can only hope that Vanessa will do an extended video or a part two sometime in the future!
‘Lipstick Kisses’ is one of Julie Adenuga’s #BigThree tracks on her popular Beats 1 show this week and currently being supported by 1xtra and Capital Xtra. The soulful, throwback number co-written by Vanessa White and Tre Jean-Marie has continued to mirror the incredible reaction she has already garnered from music fans and outlets such as Wonderland, Clash, RWD and The Line of Best Fit. This impressive momentum has helped her to attract well over half a million streams for her solo tracks and visuals since the end of last year.
