Wavebye Announce Debut EP ‘Sugar’ And Unveil ‘Show Me’ Music Video

Earlier this month Southampton quartet Wavebye released their new track Show Me. They’ve now announced that their debut EP Sugar is set for release on July 29th via AWAL alongside releasing the official music video for Show Me.

The Sugar EP will feature six tracks: Sugar, Show Me, Everything, Bodyheat, You Think I Don’t Know and This Is Love. Fans have previously been treated to a video for title track Sugar which can be seen here. Sugar set the tone for the release highlighting the quartet’s hook-filled guitar-driven sound accompanied by Finlay Male’s strong, explosive vocals. Show Me followed with a sing-along chorus which has become a set highlight at the band’s recent live shows. Wavebye teamed up with Martina Wisniewska for the video for the track which can be seen below.

When speaking about the EP, vocalist Finlay Male said: “The Sugar EP is a deluge of emotion we have been bottling up for over a year, and its release fills us with the biggest sense of pride.’”. Wavebye will be playing at Burn It Down Festival in Torquay on 31st August, for more details and ticket links head here.

Unashamedly in love with pop music and boybands. I'm always looking for new artists to check out, so send them my way and you might be able to be smug knowing you helped me find a new favourite band. You'll probably say I have long hair, most people do.
