The Vamps UK tour is just around the corner, beginning on March 25. As the date approaches, the nerves start to kick in, especially for supporting act Conor Maynard. This 23 year old, singer-songwriter, will be kicking off a new chapter in his career as the opening act for The Vamps. This is not a new experience for the young lad as he has toured with major artists like Jason Derulo, Ne-Yo, and Will.i.Am. There is no doubt that Conor Maynard will give a brilliant show, besides The Vamps of course. Conor Maynard will be supporting The Vamps at all of their dates, except for the shows in Ireland along with The Tide and Hometown.

Conor released his first single, “Can’t Say No”, in 2012 and has continued to impress the world with recently released songs such as, “Royalty” and “I’m Famous”. For Conor, this upcoming tour is the perfect opportunity to play smash hits from his album, “Contrast”, or promote new music off of his newly announced album. However, his setlist wouldn’t be complete without a cover such as “Pillowtalk” by ZAYN, “Hello” by Adele, or “Work” by Rihanna (featuring Drake). No matter what Conor plays, fans are bound to have a great time dancing and singing during his performance.

In honor of The Vamps UK tour premiere next week, here are some fun facts about Conor Maynard.

    1. His full name is Conor Paul Maynard.
    2. He was born on the 21st of November in 1992.
    3. He is from Brighton (which is in the United Kingdom).
    4. Ne-Yo became Conor’s mentor after viewing his cover of “Beautiful Monster”.
    5. He won an award for “MTV’s Brand New” in 2012.
    6. He performed at the Capital FM Summertime Ball for 80,000 fans.
    7. His perfect love song is “Chasing Cars” by Snow Patrol
    8. The first song he ever bought was “All Rise” by Blue

Conor Maynard has been so successful these past four years and The Vamps UK Tour is just what he needs to take the next step in his career. Make sure to buy tickets to The Vamps UK shows, because Conor is an act you won’t want to miss.
