Today marks the world premiere of “The Ricochet,” the new music video from the Scotty Hollywood Band.
The video was directed by Elgin Cahill and showcases the band’s signature blend of energetic performance, emotion-filled vocals, and irreverent on-stage wit. The song was written and recorded in Denver, CO by lead singer Scott Argiro aka Scotty Hollywood and features lead/rhythm guitars performed by Shane Lamb in Nashville, TN. It was mixed by Jesse O’Brien and mastered by Paul Abbott at ZenMastering.
“The Ricochet” is the first single from the band’s upcoming album “Wondervu,” due out September 29th on MTS Records. Fans of the Scotty Hollywood Band will delight in the video’s classic pop sound and catchy hooks.
The video premiere of “The Ricochet” is a testament to the band’s devotion to their craft and the power of positive energy that they bring to every performance. Lead singer Scott Argiro is a multi-instrumentalist who has released numerous CDs which have been distributed internationally and received airplay on independent and college radio throughout the United States.
Aside from his work as a musician, Argiro is also an actor who has been in several television commercials, independent films, and a Ridley Scott production. He has also been featured in the movie ‘Pretty Little Things’ which debuted in Koblenz, Germany and screened at the Costa Rican Film Festival.
