Fifth Harmony’s Camila Cabello and Canadian breakthrough artist Shawn Mendes are currently ruling the pop world with I Know What You Did Last Summer.
Initially, the song only caught on to listeners of U.S. and Canadian radio. Luckily, after a frenzy of promotional rounds including a perfect performance at the 2016 People’s Choice Awards, the song catapulted to international success.
The song is currently charting on iTunes in over 30 countries! In addition, ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ is already a top 40 Billboard hit, and has charted internationally in places like Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Netherlands, Canada and Australia!
Even more amazing, I Know What You Did Last Summer has the potential to reach the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. That means Shawn might be getting his second top 10 hit; and Camila could get her first top 10 hit! Bravo!
Streaming points seem to be adding up nicely as Spotify numbers are relatively in the upper 100 range with approximately 30 countries streaming.
