Ryan Higa, otherwise known as “nigahiga,” joined YouTube on July 20, 2006. Since then, Ryan has accumulated over 17 million subscribers. He also has a second channel, “HigaTV” with over 4 million subscribers.
Ryan and his friend Sean started posting videos to the nigahiga channel in 2006. They first started doing lip sync videos but then expanded to include comedy sketches. Their videos in the “How To Be” series were their first viral videos. Later on, Ryan started his own production company, Ryan Higa Production Company (RHPC).
Ryan and his production company work hard to produce original content on the Higa channels. They have done projects that involve acting out anime scenes in real life, starting a boyband, and making parody trailers.
Together with other YouTubers and friends, RHPC compiled videos from many of Ryan’s friends to congratulate him on 10 years of being on YouTube.
