YUNGBLUD is back with a new release called ‘Parents’.
Co-written with Justin Tranter and the song’s producers, Zakk Cervini and Chris Greatti, ‘Parents’ is a gritty offering with blistering lyrics which call out the adult figures in our lives who love to belittle the younger generation.
Speaking about the track, YUNGBLUD said: “‘Parents’ is a tribute to individualism. You are the best judge of how to become the best you. Don’t conform to the outside world’s perception of who you should be if it means losing yourself in the process.”

‘Parents’ follows on from YUNGBLUD’s previous release ’11 Minutes’, a collaboration with Halsey and Travis Barker. Since its release, the track has garnered more than 140 million cumulative streams.
The Yorkshire born artist has also teamed up with Z2 Comics to create an original concept graphic novel, YUNGBLUD presents The Twisted Tales Of The Ritalin Club. The graphic novel is due for release in October and is available for pre-order in deluxe and standard editions now.
If you fancy catching Yungblud live this year then he will be embarking on a UK and European tour this Autumn. He will also be performing on the main stage at Reading and Leeds Festival this summer. A full list of tour dates can be found here.
