My Silent Bravery is an alternative rock artist from Boston, Massachusetts consisting of Matthew Wade. With his music, his goal is to encourage and empower each Braveheart (his fans) to find their own voice, follow their dreams, and to never give up.
Matt’s latest single, “Face to Face” off of his new album Breakthrough (Acoustic), shows just that. Despite the track being a heartbreaking love song, Matt is here to show Braveheart’s that not everything can be perfect, no matter how hard you try. Sometimes bad things have to happen in order to move on to bigger and brighter things. Even if that includes losing someone that you thought you could have a future with.
Matt exclusively told CelebMix that, “”Face to Face” has always been one of my favorite songs on the album. I think the acoustic version and arrangement really helps brings out the sentiment and emotion of the song.”
And he’s right. The acoustic version did just that. Listening and watching the video to the acoustic version of “Face To Face,” viewers can truly experience the pain Matt is feeling as he follows the girl he wishes he had again.
With lyrics like, “All I want to see, is you smile at me,” “Can we please go back before things got bad,” and “Everything I did, everything I said, is messing with my head / Wish I went and did some other things instead,” you can’t help but feel your heart strings being tugged. You’re left thinking, “Why won’t she listen to him?”
But as we said earlier, sometimes bad things have to happen for good things to come. Sometimes you have to realize that if a door closed, it’s because what was behind it wasn’t meant for you.
