Lady Antebellum and More to Perform at NBC’s annual ‘Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular’

The country trio will join a host of stars at the 4th of July concert

NBC’s annual ‘Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular’ celebrates Independence Day in triumphant style this year with massive names such as Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, and Hailee Steinfeld confirmed for the concert with more stars to be added to the bill soon.

The sure-to-be spectacular live event will mark the 41st annual Macy’s 4th of July firework display over the East River and along with performances from major artists there will also be an incredible pyrotechnic spectacle, which will ignite the skyline with more than 60,000 shells launched over five barges positioned in midtown Manhattan. It will be America’s largest firework display in over a decade and it promises to be a must-see show from coast to coast.

The awesome light show will be accompanied by the West Point Band and Glee Club and their  musical tribute, “ANTHEM,” featuring vocalists Heather Headley, Craig Campbell, Jamie Barton & the USO Troupe of Metropolitan New York.

Speaking about the impressive line-up which includes the aforementioned Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, and Hailee Steinfeld,Executive Vice President, Specials & Late Night Programming, NBC Entertainment, Doug Vaughan said: “Our lineup of amazing musical acts and personalities will be the perfect lead-in to the incredible fireworks display the nation waits for all year. NBC is proud to partner with Macy’s and these talented artists to create the ultimate destination to celebrate Independence Day.”  

US audiences will be able to tune into the massive event which will be hosted by Akbar Gbajabiamila, Matt Iseman and Kristine Leahy on Tuesday, 4th of July (8-10 p.m. ET/PT) with an hour-long encore presentation at 10pm.
