Camila Cabello’s ‘Havana’ is a musical force to be reckoned with. Originally released as a summer double feature alongside ‘OMG’, the track created such a buzz that Camila decided to release it as her official second single.
Since its release, the track has been streamed almost 170 million times on Spotify. ‘Havana’ is also climbing the charts across the globe. Not only did it reach number one in the UK iTunes chart, but it’s currently pushing for number one on the official singles chart.
Whilst music lovers across the world have fallen in love with ‘Havana’, the track has also impacted on some of our favourite musicians and bands. The internet is bursting with covers of the track, with many people putting their own spin on the song. However, we’ve narrowed it down to our ten favourite covers of ‘Havana’ for your enjoyment.
Alus
Rather than a straight up cover, Alus mashed up ‘Havana’ with Liam Payne’s ‘Strip That Down’. The result is effortlessly cool!
Karlie G
Ukuleles are understated instruments, but Karlie G definitely makes us want to learn to play following her version of ‘Havana’. Teaming up slick vocals with a ukulele solo during the rap part, we love what she’s done with the song.
Dite Flynn
Dite Flynn showcases her stunning vocals during her cover, but also adds her own twist. During Young Thug’s verse, she delivers her own lyrics which fit in perfectly with the song’s vibe.

Jack and Joel
Jack and Joel have recently been on our screens competing on this year’s The X Factor UK. They shared their mash up of ‘Havana’ and ‘Crying in the Club’ which showcases their talent and personality.
Jungle Man Sam and Katia
Jungle Man Sam teamed up with Katia for his cover of ‘Havana’, one we’re certain Camila would adore. Not only does Katia deliver amazing vocals whilst Sam works on the production, but Sam himself gives the song a sexy Spanish twist in the latter half.
Spencer Sutherland
Also currently appearing on The X Factor UK, Spencer Sutherland shared his raspy, RnB tinged cover of ‘Havana’. He gives the song a little twist of his own which fits the track perfectly.
New Hope Club
New Hope Club, made up of George, Blake and Reece, stripped things back for their cover of ‘Havana’. Using two guitars and a cajon, their acoustic version allows them to showcase their individual vocals and harmonies.
Over Atlantic
Pop-rock band Over Atlantic, made up of Charlie, Sean, Liam, Trevor and Gabe, shared a really funky version of ‘Havana’, adding an infectious drum beat and awesome harmonies. We love the nifty instrumentals which allow them to stamp their own identity on the song.
Samantha Harvey
The beautiful Samantha Harvey recently shared her version of Camila’s hit and, similarly to Alus, also mashed it up with a little bit of Liam Payne’s ‘Strip That Down’.
Jake Sims
Former X Factor contestant Jake Sims has only recently dropped his version of ‘Havana’, but it’s safe to say we’re obsessed with it. His voice suits the song perfectly, and we love the grainy backing track used. Jake also uses Young Thug’s section to showcase his own rapping skills.
