5 Seconds of Summer – made up of members Ashton Irwin, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood and Luke Hemmings – are hinting at their comeback, several years after the release of their second studio album ‘Sounds Good Feels Good.’
The most recent hint came when the band’s official Twitter account shared an excerpt from MTV, which stated that it had been 847 days since the release of the band’s second album. We need to hear new music!

The talented four-piece also shared a GIF which said ‘We Want You Back,’ something which their fans have repeatedly stated over the past few years. Another sign of new music!

A behind-the-scenes photo was also released, potentially a photo from the upcoming album? Only time will tell!

But, the biggest hint came from member Ashton, who explained that now is the ‘time for re-ignition,’ also saying that the time had come to ‘spin around this earth a couple of times in the upcoming months, playing our new music, old music, ,and everything in between.’
He also said that the time period between their last album and this album ‘has been an incredible time of growth.’ A poignant sentence in particular was when he stated that ‘Exploring and pushing existing song-writing ability and commitment to the roots of the band is a statement that carries through every aspect of our lives.’
Ashton rounded up by saying that the band’s main motivation is for their fans to keep ‘falling in love with what we do,’ also remaining true to themselves and their fans, before signing his letter of as A-Wizzle.
I wrote you something simplistic.
