With just a few weeks to go until season thirteen of The Voice USA kicks off, a new promo video has dropped which is bound to ramp up the excitement.
The clip sees the coaches – Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Miley Cyrus and newbie Jennifer Hudson – channel their inner crime-fighter as they go back in time to the 70’s. With snazzy outfits, kickass moves and plenty of attitude, the promo video is action packed from the get go, symbolising that we can expect an explosive series.
Adam makes his entrance by tumbling through a window, whilst Miley fights her way through boxes after being thrown off a car. Blake seems to be enjoying life whilst dressed as different characters whilst Jennifer looks totally badass when in charge of some nunchucks.
As the fierce foursome speed through the city, we also see a glimpse of show host Carson Daly, who stars in the promo as Lug Nut. At the end of the video, a voiceover is heard saying, “The best around are back on the beat and looking for The Voice.”

Even though the series has yet to start, we already know who this year’s advisers will be. Adam will be teaming up with DNCE frontman Joe Jonas, whilst Blake will be relying on Rascal Flatts for help. Jennifer will be bringing Kelly Rowland along for the ride whilst Miley will be enlisting the help of her dad and country star Billy Ray Cyrus. It’s safe to say that we’re in for a treat this season!
Season thirteen of The Voice USA kicks off on September 25 at 8pm ET on NBC.
