Adam Lambert performs ‘Closer To You’ on The Late Late Show with James Corden

Adam Lambert recently paid a visit to The Late Late Show with James Corden, where he delivered a gorgeous performance of ‘Closer to You’.

Accompanied by piano, Adam wowed the audience (and viewers at home) with the Velvet: Side A EP track. Not only did he serve some sensational vocals, but he also offered spellbinding emotion which really sucked you into the performance.

Check it out the performance in full below.

During the show, he also took part in a comedy skit with James and fellow guest Josh Gad. ‘Worst Masked Singer Judges Ever’, a spoof of the US TV show The Masked Singer, saw Adam perform some of Queen’s most iconic songs whilst wearing a mask.

James and Josh then shared their completely unlikely guesses of who was behind the mask, including LeBron James, Jack Nicholson, Oprah, Ellen DeGeneres, Timothee Chalamet, the Stranger Things kids, and even Kanye West!

Whilst Adam’s Glamberts enjoyed the artist’s stint on the show, from the comments on YouTube it’s clear that they are after more, with one wish in particular: an Adam Lambert Carpool Karaoke. We wholeheartedly agree – just imagine Adam and James driving round singing along to the likes of ‘Whataya Want From Me’, ‘Ghost Town’, ‘New Eyes’ and maybe even some Queen songs. Iconic.

Adam recently released his Velvet: Side A EP which includes the tracks ‘Closer To You’, ‘Comin’ In Hot’, and ‘Superpower’. The B-side to the EP is expected in the near future and we can’t wait!

Adam’s also teamed up with Spotify for their 2019 Holiday Collection. He’s recorded his version of ‘Please Come Home For Christmas’, which you can check out below.
