A trailer for the upcoming movie Chemical Hearts has dropped, ahead of its release on Amazon Prime Video on August 21.
Based on the “Our Chemical Hearts” novel by Krystal Sutherland, the movie is a coming of age story which captures the trials and tribulations of being a teenager. The movie stars Euphoria’s Austin Abrams as Henry Page, who is drawn to mysterious transfer student Grace Town (played by Riverdale and Hustlers star Lili Reinhart).
The trailer teases Henry and Grace’s relationship, which develops as they are chosen to co-edit the school newspaper together. Depicting the thrills, disappointments and confusion of being a teenager, the movie is set to resonate with many as we delve into the pair’s past.

Along with Lili Reinhart and Austin Abrams, Chemical Hearts also stars Kara Young as Lola, C.J. Hoff as Murray, Sarah Jones as Sadie, Adhir Kalyan as Kem Sharma and Bruce Altman as Toby.
Directed by Richard Tanne from his own script, the movie is also produced by Tanne and Page Fifty-Four’s Alex Saks. The film is executive produced by Jamie O’Brien as well as Reinhart, marking her first executive producer role.
Chemical Hearts will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video on August 21.
