Following the release of his debut single ‘So Good’, pop-RnB artist AMERY is back with a new track called “I Need Lovin'”.
Produced by James Lowland (who also co-wrote the track with AMERY), “I Need Lovin'” is a slick offering with an infectious vibe. The track allows AMERY to showcase his personality as he confesses his timidity through the lyrics. Speaking about the track, he said: “I’m a really shy person, even more when I’m around girls! They are the ones who have to come to me and make me comfortable. This song tells the story of that girl I let run away and the frustration of not gathering enough courage to talk to her…”
James added: “I was aiming to tell a story throughout the whole song, with AMERY shouting out to every passer-by carrying around a boom-box in order to find his love interest. Hence the footsteps and the radio on in the introduction. The bells are there to grab even more attention while the production is getting bigger and louder, illustrating his need to be heard.”

“‘I Need Lovin'” follows on from AMERY’s successful debut single ‘So Good’. The track has been streamed over 300,000 times and was selected for the #NextWaveJuly program on musical.ly.
“I Need Lovin'” is available now on iTunes and Spotify.
