Arkells Release ‘Relentless’ Video

Arkells have released their video for last single Relentless, taken from their upcoming album Rally Cry.

The video was directed by Mark Myers and shows the Candian five-piece in an intriguing, dreamlike world. It’s extremely captivating to watch and throw in some powerful vocals from Max Kerman this makes the video well worth a watch, check it out below for yourself!

Frontman Max Kerman speaks of the track; “Most songs illicit some immediate visual cues. For a song like Relentless, we knew a few things: we want it to be night time. We wanted it to be somewhat mysterious. And we wanted it to be a little strange. Musically, the song itself is somewhat of a departure for us so we wanted the video to look and feel different from our other videos. Those were the general conversations we had with Mark. He took those ideas and cooked up something we wouldn’t have been able to articulate on paper. He said, ‘In the darkness, you’re chasing for the light’. Relentless is about that”

Relentless is the lead single taken from their new album Rally Cry set for release on the 19th October which also features previous single People’s Champ. Produced by Eric Ratz (Metric, Billy Talent), mixed by Mark Needham (The Killers, Fleetwood Mac) and mastered by Greg Calbi (Arcade Fire, Kacy Musgraves) Arkells have had a great team behind them during this album’s creation.

Alongside the album release, they will also be heading out on a European/UK tour in November. The tour kicks off in Cologne on November 16 and ends in Brighton on November 29th.
