Claudia Faniello was born in Malta and started her music career at the tender age of twelve. She has released a number of singles since her career started as well as her debut album Convincingly Better, which was released in 2010. Over the years she has competed in Malta Song For Europe numerous times in a bid to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest. She first entered the contest in 2006 and has since submitted twelve entries, finishing second in both 2008 and 2012. Her patience finally paid off this year when she won the contest with the song ‘Breathlessly’. She will therefore be heading off to Kyiv in May to compete at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in a bid to bring home Malta’s first win at the contest.
