During her recent visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Bebe Rexha delivered a dramatic performance of ‘I’m a Mess’.
The anthem has been a fan favourite ever since its release, and Bebe’s powerful performance of it did not disappoint. The track sees the songstress go between self-loathing and feeling optimistic for the future, and Bebe interpreted this visually by setting the performance in a hospital.
Laying on a hospital bed with a nurse stood by, Bebe begins by dancing on her own on the bed before taking out her frustration on a pillow. She is then joined by a group of dancers dressed as doctors, who aid her as she switches between the various feelings of the song. The performance culminates in a giant pillow fight with plenty of confetti being scattered across the stage.
This performance shows that Bebe is a force to be reckoned with – not only does she have incredible vocal prowess and a gift for songwriting, but she also has an electric stage presence.
