Blazin’ Squad were a huge band (quite literally) in the noughties, who catapulted to fame thanks to their debut number one hit ‘Crossroads’ in 2002. The ten man band, made up of Krazy, Rocky B, Reepa, Spike-e, Melo-d, Strider, Kenzie, Flava, Freek and Tommy B, went on to release hits such as ‘Love on the Line’, ‘Flip Reverse’ and ‘Here 4 One’.

In recent years, some of the members have been performing together on the circuit. However, thanks to Rocky B’s, aka Marcel Sommerville, appearance on Love Island earlier this year, the band’s popularity has rocketed once again, calling for a huge reunion. Only seven of the original ten members will be appearing at the two reunion gigs, however, we’re so excited to see the majority of the band back together again.

In addition to Love Island, it’s safe to say that Blazin’ Squad fever is alive on more than one TV show. Just last night, Ollie Georgiou, aka Freek, made an appearance on E4’s Tattoo Fixers. After having a band tattoo for a number of years, Ollie decided to get a little makeover from Sketch and co.
