After forming in 1983, rock band Bon Jovi continues to make music! The band released their new video for “This House Is Not For Sale,” which is also the name of their new album.
In the video, lead singer Jon Bon Jovi takes a drive in his old New Jersey neighborhood.
The song includes the lyrics:
I set each stone and I hammered each nail
This house is not for sale
When every memory is lived and my dreams all fail
This house is not for sale
Coming home, I’m coming home
The song is definitely nostalgic, as Jon Bon Jovi goes back to his roots. It is clear that the places he drives by are reminiscent of his past as he sings, “coming home, coming home.”

This album is the band’s first project since their departure from Mercury Records and return to Island/Universal Music Group.
This House Is Not For Sale is Bon Jovi’s 14th studio record. Not counting the “fan” album Burning Bridges, this is also the first time without guitarist Richie Sambora.
In a press conference in Kuala Lumpur last year, the band said that at this stage of their career, they having nothing left to prove. Although they like writing catchy songs, like “You Give Love A Bad Name,” they feel that there is more important messages they can convey in their music. Jon says, “It was great when I was 25 but not at 53.”
This House Is Not For Sale comes out October 21.
