We can’t get enough of this highly personal song, “Hometown” by Brandon Stansell, and so it’s no surprise we’re writing up about the recent release of the lyric video because we can’t help but love this visual. This release follows the single release and official music video for the song.
Brandon Stansell has been building his career in country music and he’s been gaining fans from the minute he released his Kickstarter campaign, to the release of his debut album “Slow Down“, and to his latest singles including “For You” which starred Eureka O’Hara in the music video. Lately, he’s revisited one of the fan-favourite tracks from his debut album, “Hometown“, and released a personal but inspiring music video alongside a three-track single release. Now, we have this awesome lyric video.
For those of you who are wondering, the song was written by MYLEN and Brandon Stansell, whilst Erik Halbig acted as producer. The lyric video reminds us of Taylor Swift’s “Mine” due to the hanging photos, although it was a lot windier in her music video; fun fact, Brandon Stansell was a backing dancer on Taylor Swift’s Fearless Tour for two years. The images hung from the tree are photos taken by his fans of their own hometowns; it’s such a sweet visual that really relates to the song in its own way.
