The full shortlist for this year’s British Soap Awards has been announced. Following a longlist vote for Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Soap, we now know who’s made it through to the final vote, as well as the nominees for the panel-voted categories.
All five soaps have had an incredible twelve months, covering hard-hitting issues such as child grooming, mental health, consent, dementia, teenage cancer, miscarriage and much more. To say that the soaps have been eventful would be an understatement – each soap has seen its fair share of births, deaths, marriages, affairs, murder, disaster and everything in between.
We don’t envy viewers or the panel in picking a winner, as each category is extremely tough. However, here are the nominees for this year’s British Soap Awards.
