The acts are no strangers to working together after their initial collaboration for the ‘MIC Drop Remix’ last November which set many records for BTS. MIC Drop became the first Korean song to hit Number one on US iTunes and debuted as Number 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 making it their first Top 40 hit on the charts. Since it’s release it has hit Gold in the United States, also becoming the first BTS and KPOP song to hit this certification by the RIAA. They also released the stunning ballad The Truth Untold for their number one album ‘Love Yourself:Tear’.
According to Aoki the song will be released tomorrow (25th October) and you can get a preview now by tweeting #WasteItOnMe.
The announcement comes just off of the release of RM’s second mixtapewhich broke records after becoming the Korean artist with the most number ones on iTunes, beating his own group who broke the record with their third full length album ‘Love Yourself: Tear.’
