Exciting news, ARMYs! Over the last couple of weeks, many of you have been wondering whether or not BTS will be performing at this year’s Billboard Music Awards… and now we finally have the answer: Yes, they will!

The official BBMA Twitter account revealed a short video last night, teasing the boys’ performance with subtle clues hidden in the video. This morning (April 24th), they finally tweeted what everyone was waiting to hear, and confirmed the group’s first performance at the Billboard Music Awards.

While this won’t be their first time attending the award show, it will be their first time showing their talent on the BBMA stage.”There is a first time for everything”, right?

It was last year when BTS was nominated for the Top Social Artist award and, to everyone’s surprise, took the award home, becoming the first K-Pop group to ever win in that category. BTS continued to write history later that year when they made their U.S performance debut with their hit song DNA at the American Music Awards, and their international popularity has been rising ever since.

BTS is nominated for the Top Social Artist award for the second year in a row and fans are excited to not only see them perform on stage but, hopefully, see them win more trophies which they can add to their already huge collection.

With their upcoming album Love Yourself:Tear being released on May 18th, and the Billboard Music Awards taking place on May 20th, many are convinced they are going to perform their new single for the very first time and show us a brand new choreography.

Either way, this year’s performance will not only be a huge achievement for the K-Pop supergroup, it will also help them get the recognition they deserve. Their debut stage will be live on American television and we’re sure BTS will introduce a whole new group to the world of K-Pop with their performance!
