BTS Shows Love to ARMY in Alternate Version of “Boy With Luv” Music Video

Just a few weeks after dropping their record-breaking music video for “Boy With Luv,” BTS has now released an alternate version of the video, called the “ARMY With Luv” version. ARMY is, of course, a nod to the group’s fanbase, which has grown internationally over the past few years.

The group’s fans have helped them achieve countless records, with the most recent being the biggest YouTube debut of all-time. After just 24 hours of releasing the “Boy With Luv” music video, it accumulated over 74 million views. It has since reached over 200 million views and 9 million likes.

It’s without a doubt that BTS has a strong connection with their fans. To show them just how much they care for them, the group replaces the words, “LOVE,” with “ARMY” on a sign that appears towards the middle of the alternate music video.

The guys also gifted fans with new scenes throughout the video, as well as including the official “Boy With Luv” single featuring Halsey. The original included a version that only had Halsey’s vocals towards the second half of the song.

BTS and Halsey will perform the song live together for the first time at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards on NBC. Other performers include Panic! at the Disco, Taylor Swift, the Jonas Brothers, Khalid, Tori Kelley, Ciara, Madonna, Maluma, Dan + Shay, Lauren Daigle, and more.

Sam Smith and Normani were also supposed to perform their single, “Dancing With a Stranger,” together, but due to Smith’s medical concerns, they have canceled their appearance.
