Calvin Harris and Sam Smith have hit the Number 1 spot on this weeks Official UK Singles Chart with their track ‘Promises’.
The duo’s first collaboration together becomes Calvin’s 10th and Sam’s 7th UK Number 1 respectively – meaning Harris is now officially the act with the most Number 1 hits this decade, topping the charts eight times in the 2010s.
Acknowledging the success of ‘Promises’ as well as his own chart personal achievements, Calvin took to Twitter to thanks fans, and Sam, for all all of their support.
“They’re saying it’s my 10th number 1” the Scottish DJ tweeted, before cheekily adding “I count productions too so it’s my 14th… big upppp”
