Congratulations are in order for Camila Cabello as the singer has finally made her way to the top of the UK singles chart with ‘Havana’ featuring Young Thug.

The track has enjoyed a steady climb up the charts ever since its release back in August. However, after three weeks at number two, this week saw Camila knock Post Malone off the top spot, with ‘Havana’ outselling ‘rockstar’ by almost 4000 chart sales.

Speaking to OfficialCharts.com, Camila said “I am so excited to be Number 1 in the UK! I can’t believe it! Thank you to my amazing fans for always supporting me – WE DID IT! I am so grateful.”

Camila also shared her pure joy with fans on Twitter.

OH MY GOD GUYS WE DID IT!!! OMG OMG OMG OMG HAVANA'S NUMBER 1!!!! ??????????????#HavanaUKNumberOne

After initially being released as part of a summer double feature along with ‘OMG’ featuring Quavo, ‘Havana’ soon showed signs of being a huge hit and was given official single status. Since its release, it has amassed a staggering 261 million streams on Spotify and has rocketed its way up charts across the globe.

Ten days ago, Camila finally unveiled the highly anticipated music video for ‘Havana’, which has certainly helped the track’s popularity. The hilarious mini-movie, which stars Camila, Lele Pons, LeJuan James and Noah Centineo, has already been viewed over 94 million times.

Camila has been busy promoting ‘Havana’ around the world by delivering some incredible performances of the track. From an electrifying performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, to a breathtaking acoustic version on The Elvis Duran show, she also performed the track at the Latin American Music Awards.

Additionally, Camila brought the fire to the UK when she performed at this year’s Radio Teen Awards. The singer will return to the UK on November 12 to perform at the MTV EMA Awards in London.

We’re delighted to see Camila finally reach the number one spot. Whilst she has been thriving as a solo artist since the beginning of the year, the success of ‘Havana’ is set to propel her to incredible heights and we’re truly excited to continue following her journey. Congratulations Camila!
