Camila Cabello has rounded off her perfect 2017 by giving fans an early New Year’s Eve present – a visual for her latest track ‘Never Be The Same’.
Taking to Twitter, the ‘Havana’ songstress said that she wanted to share the video “as a New Year’s Eve present” but was “too excited and couldn’t wait!!!!”

In further tweets, Camila added that “this is a thank you from the bottom of my heart for always being here for me and for all the memories we’ve made together this year.”
“I frickin love you all so much and PS my family and I cried several times watching this back. IT’S END OF THE YEAR EMO TIME“.
The visual takes us on a journey through Camila’s stunning 2017, whilst also documenting her desire to be an artist from a young age. From clips of ‘Havana’ to some of Camila’s iconic TV performances, the visual begins with some of her many highlights from the year before the camera focuses on a clock moving backwards.
We are then shown adorable footage of Camila in her younger days, including her performing in a choir and learning to play the recorder and guitar. The visual then switches back to present day Camila, and continues to showcase some of her many achievements from this year.
From working on her debut album, becoming the face of GUESS, to travelling the world on tour, it’s clear to see that Camila has had a magical year and is thankful for every second.
Of course, Camila’s fans have also been a huge part of her journey so far, therefore it is no surprise that some of them make an appearance in the visual too. We get to see Camila meeting some of her fans across the world, whilst several fans also feature by lip syncing the chorus.

‘Never Be The Same’ was released earlier this month as an instant grat track from her forthcoming debut solo album Camila. The album is due for release in just two weeks time (on January 12) and we couldn’t be more excited.
Camila recently shared the tracklist for her self-titled offering. The ten-track album will include ‘Never Be The Same’, ‘Real Friends’ and the global phenomenon ‘Havana’.
As if Camila’s 2017 wasn’t already spectacular enough, the songstress reached another incredible milestone earlier today. She has now surpassed over 40 million monthly listeners on Spotify, becoming the first female to ever achieve this feat.
