Whilst we wait for the official music video, The Chainsmokers have treated us to a lyric video for ‘Setting Fires’ featuring XYLØ.
This isn’t your bog standard lyric video either. It comes with plenty of actual fire, a gang of cool looking people and a ton of skateboarding stunts. In fact, the fire and stunts combined are so dangerous, that the video warrants a warning message at the beginning (we definitely won’t be trying any of these at home).
The lyrics to the song are held up on bits of cardboard whilst the gang play with fire, quite literally. From flaming swords to burning skateboards, the lyric video is super slick. We can only imagine how good the actual video will be!
‘Setting Fires’ is the latest track from Drew Taggart and Alex Pall, and comes from The Chainsmokers’ recently released EP, Collage. Whilst their Halsey collab ‘Closer’ is still dominating charts across the globe, it’s time for ‘Setting Fires to get the attention it deserves.
