The people behind ‘Scream Queens’ have just confirmed that Colton Haynes is joining the cast for season two!

The 27-year-old actor’s role is being kept secret for the moment, but we have a feeling that Haynes will be portraying one of the hot doctors show-runner Ryan Murphy promised. Last month, it was revealed that Twilight star, Taylor Lautner, will be playing Cassidy Cascade, a young doctor at Dean Munsch’s (Jamie Lee Curtis) hospital. Full House actor John Stamos will also be joining the cast for the second season.

Haynes has previously taken a step back from acting to take care of himself. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he explained that his anxiety caused him too much pain, both mentally and physically. He said, “I asked to step away [from Arrow] because I cared more about my mental and physical health than my career at the time. I’ve had terminal anxiety my entire life. Physically ill, fainting. I’m 27 years old, and I have an ulcer. I had to step back.”

In the three-month-old interview, Haynes also explained that he now feels happier and healthier than ever. We’re so glad that he’s feeling well enough to pursue what he loves. We are beyond excited to see him on ‘Scream Queens’.

‘Scream Queens’ is set to premiere on September 20 at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
