Dan Owen’s Thought-provoking Video for “Made To Love You”

After the single’s official release, Dan Owen’s “Made To Love You” is back with a dramatic and thought-provoking video that features domestic violence in a different perspective from what it’s usually portrayed.

The video premiered with Shortlist who said, “Domestic violence is an issue that needs to be talked about more, with the shocking figures that 1 in 4 women, and 1 in 6 men will be affected by the issue in their lifetime. Therefore, this hard-hitting new video from up-and-coming Shrewsbury singer-songwriter Dan Owen is an important piece of work. The song, ‘Made To Love You’, was written from the personal experience of Dan supporting a friend suffering in an abusive relationship, with the lyrics touching on the conflict of emotions felt by one partner to another.”

The video is thought-provoking in the sense that it does not only take you on an emotional roller-coaster ride but it also makes you think about what people who are in abusive relationships experience.

‘Made To Love You’ is becoming a rapid success across the world and entered No.2 in the French Spotify Viral Chart, No.4 in Belgium and also charted in the Netherlands, Hungary, Turkey and Indonesia respectively.
The Shrewsbury singer is building up an impressive fanbase, which has seen him sell out his headline show at St. Pancras Old Church on September 7th.
