While in Orlando for their Future Now Tour, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas paid tribute to the victims of the shooting in Orlando. They asked R&B singer Andra Day to help them perform a special song in memory of the victims.

Demi and Nick first welcomed their friend Hank onstage to lead everyone in prayer, promoting healing and love for the city of Orlando. Then Andra Day came onstage and performed the inspirational song “Rise Up” with Demi and Nick.

The names of the victims of the shooting were displayed in the background. The tribute was also dedicated to Christina Grimmie, who was shot in Orlando just days before the mass shooting at Pulse Nightclub. You can watch the emotional performance below.

It was a special moment of solidarity for the crowd of 10,000, evident in the cheers after Hank said “we will let love win.”

Demi and Nick even went beyond performing a beautiful tribute. TMZ reports that they reached out to the employees of Pulse Nightclub and offered them free tickets to the show, along with a private suite and a meet and greet with Demi and Nick.

Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas Honour Orlando Shooting Victims 1Demi and Nick join many other artists who have performed tributes to the Orlando victims, including Little Mix, Justin Bieber, Beyoncé and The 1975. Countless other celebrities and YouTubers have voiced their opinions on the shooting as well. It’s not only celebrities honouring the victims. Companies, cities, sports teams, and regular people have also paid tribute in their own ways.

It’s beautiful to see the world coming together and working for change after the tragedy in Orlando, and we’re proud of Demi and Nick for being apart of this movement.
