On 18 April 2019, 4th Impact dropped a brand new cover on their YouTube Channel and we are living for their amazing vocals and brilliant harmonies. This time around, they covered Lady Gaga’s “I’ll Never Love Again” from the film A Star Is Born. This is their second cover of 2019, their previous cover video was of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody“.
4th Impact are best known for being contestants on the shows Superstar K6 and The X Factor. In the former, they were on the sixth season, and they came in at eighth place. As for the latter, they competed in the tenth series and finished in fifth place; their audition tape, though, is The X Factor UK‘s most viewed video on their YouTube Channel. They consist of Almira Cercado, Irene Cercado, Mylene Cercado, and Celina Cercado. They’ve been working hard on their career last year, having signed to US management and released songs with Tony Valor. We hope that 2019 brings more 4th Impact music.
The original track was written by Lady Gaga, Natalie Hemby, Hilary Lindsey, and Aaron Raitiere, whilst it was produced by Lady Gaga and Benjamin Rice. As for this version, all four girls of 4th Impact sings the song and they filmed the video in New York City, whilst Irene’s part was filmed in South Korea. Celina Cercado worked on the video editing, whilst the song was arranged by Mylene Cercado. Helping Celina Cercado to film the video was Nayeon Son and Heeyeon Son.

Absolutely proving their vocal prowess, 4th Impact shine throughout this clip. Their vocals are complete perfection and it’s shocking to know that they’re not worldwide stars because they’re definitely worthy of being one of the top artists in the world with these vocals. Unlike previous videos where the girls emphasised their harmonies, this time around each of the Cercado sisters showcased their voices, with the song easily being split between the four of them. Harmonies take a slight back-step by featuring mainly in the background; yet, we get chills when they come to the forefront. These incredibly talented singers have, once again, proven they can sing an emotional ballad, with each girl impressing us with their voices. How did they not win Superstar K6 or series ten of The X Factor? We’ll never know. The accompanying video is professional, full of emotion, and edited superbly.
