KEV are a coalition of talents from Sweden, who are ready to take 2017 by storm.
Having formed in the fall of 2015, KEV set out to make original and unexpected sounds for music lovers everywhere. With a vast range of musical genres between them, such as Swedish pop and commercial dance music, the potential was immediately there to create something extremely special. With the industry becoming more restricted, KEV have always set out to push boundaries with the music that they create.
At the forefront of the group is Kevin, an actor who found liberation through music and helping others. His experience as a volunteer to newcomers, a movement helping refugees from war torn areas, helped Kevin’s approach to writing songs full of real human emotion. Fuelled by dreams, friendship, love, honesty and hope, the 23-year-old frontman shines as the group continue to break through barriers with their music.
Last year, KEV released their debut EP, Chapter X, which truly kickstarted their musical journey. The EP is a four-track collaborative venture between Capitol Music Sweden and BMD W Friends, full of pop inspired sounds and a genuine honesty. Lead track ‘Moments’ is a standout, euphoric offering, which has been streamed more than half a million times in the process.
2017 looks set to be an even better year for KEV as they work towards releasing their debut album as well as new spotlight singles and an exciting live expansion. With a strong shared vision and sound, there is no doubt that KEV can continue to push forward and break boundaries with their empowering music this year.
