Jordan Alexander is a singer/songwriter Toronto-based pop artist known as “the next gay pop star” by AfterEllen. She only started performing about three years ago when her girlfriend bought her a guitar and signed her up for the Spectra Talent Competition, which she won performing one of her original songs.
Spreading female positivity, Jordan also performed her heartfelt lyrics and catchy choruses at Ebonnie Rowe’s all-girl music showcase Honey Jam two years in a row. She has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Tegan and Sara in 2014 and opening for UK singer Jess Glynne in 2015.
As a gay artist in music, Jordan has received a ton support from the LGBT community and is set to perform June 17th and 18th in Columbus, Ohio for their pride celebrations, as well as in Toronto July 3rd.
Speaking about her latest video, “Take Me Out Tonight,” Jordan says, “She actually shot tequila, smoked weed and skinny-dipped….YES she’s my GRANDMOTHER! Age ain’t nuthin but a number and I’m so blessed to have the world’s coolest grandma!”
