After successful Marvel movies such as Deadpool, Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant-man, and several other ones that came out a while ago (and from which we are still recovering), we got to see the first snippets of Doctor Strange. The script for the movie was written by Jon Spaihts, and the movie itself was directed by Scott Derrickson.
In the movie, a neurosurgeon named Dr. Stephen Strange, portrayed by the brilliant Benedict Cumberbatch, gets into an awful car accident, only to later gain the title of the next Sorcerer Supreme, to learn about his amazing powers in the world of magic, with a hint of alternate dimensions. In his quest of studying his newfound abilities, he is assisted by the Ancient One (played by Tilda Swinton) and her student Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor). Other roles include Benedict Wong, Michael Stuhlbarg, Scott Adkins, Amy Landecker, and Mads Mikkelsen and Rachel McAdams.
Doctor Strange is an extremely powerful superhero in the Marvel Universe, and we’ll FINALLY be seeing him on the big screens in November. Just a few months after Captain America: Civil War; plus we’re crossing our fingers for an appearance in the Avengers: Infinity War.
