Drake loves channel 4’s hit Top Boy so much he has personally offered to pay for a third series based in Chicago. However, Ashley Walter’s the show’s star has revealed that the rapper will need more money to do it.
Drake was very downtrodden when the show got cancelled and so has decided the best way to carry it on is to pour money into it himself. Ashley said he was mainly talking to Drake’s manager Future about the outcome of the series.
Ashley said this on the matter: ‘So we had that power and the production company still owned the rights. And Drake made an offer and they turned it down. I don’t know what is going on with it – but I heard they are talking about a Top Boy Chicago.’
The show which had a million views per episode also starred rapper Kano.
