Eddie Redmayne stars alongside BBCs Biggest Stars in Children in Need Sketch

Eddie Redmayne is quickly becoming one of the most beloved men on the internet, and after a week that saw this hilariously adorable moment on James Cordens “The Late Late Show”, the accompanying comedic Fantastic Beasts at Customs sketch and the Oscar-Winner making numerous chat show appearances, it appears he has went viral again after stealing the show at last nights Children in Need telethon in a Fantastic Beasts themed comedy sketch.

Redmayne, appearing as himself but dressed in the attire of Newt Scamandar – the lead wizard in the latest edition to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” (which was released yesterday, and we reviewed here) – joins many of the BBCs biggest stars, from The Apprentice and Doctor Who to Bake Off and beyond, in a search for one particular Fantastic Beast; the telethons iconic mascot, Pudsey Bear!

The sketch stars Mel and Sue alongside Eddie, as well as appearances Mary Berry, Lord Alan Sugar, Simon Cowell, Bruno and Len from Strictly Come Dancing, and a surprise appearance from a legendary pop star, but you’ll have to watch to find out who!

The video – below – appeared as part of the telethon fundraiser, and helped raise a record breaking 46 million pounds for Charity last night.
