Eli Lieb and Steve Grand’s new duet ‘Look Away’ has seriously blown us away – the emotional masterpiece is everything that a musical collaboration should be and more!
If you’re a fan of flawless vocals and relatable lyrics, you’ll love Steve and Eli’s latest offering. The handsome duo’s harmonies really are beautiful; their voices complement each other perfectly.
So what is ‘Look Away’ all about? The ballad is extremely personal to Eli and it tells the story of loss and heartbreak. Like many singer-songwriters, Eli dealt with his pain by penning lyrics to a page. The stunning track is full of raw emotion and it never fails to give us goosebumps all over.
Sharing the video on Facebook, Eli said: “Last week my boyfriend and I broke up. The next day I filmed this video. When I saw the final edit, I questioned whether or not I wanted people to see me at my most vulnerable like this. But then I realized we’ve all been there and it made me want to share it with you.”
Steve Grand added: “It was a true pleasure working with you on this song, Eli! I couldn’t be more proud of the way our baby came out ;) Hang in there friend! Hope to see you soon so I can make you chuckle.”
‘Look Away’ isn’t yet available on iTunes unfortunately but it’ll be online for purchase soon. While we wait to buy the track, we’re going play the video over and over again. We can’t look away.
