EXCLUSIVE: Interview With FF5

Fast rising pop duo  FF5 are back with their brand new single ‘Fire On The Highway’. The track has been released via Curb Records and the pair have now released the official music video to accompany the songs release.

Here we speak exclusively to FF5 to discuss their new music, upcoming plans, and much, much more;

How excited are you for the fans to hear your new music?
We are so excited. It’s been a long journey to get here and our fans have been really patient. So I’m extremely excited for them to here the new music.

What is the main inspiration behind your latest single ‘Fire On The Highway’?
Fire On The highway is about that freedom you experience when you first get your license and can just go wherever you want. Windows down blasting your music as loud as humanly possible and being carefree.

How would you describe the overall vibe of the track?
It’s very moody. We wrote it with the thought of fitting into a John Hugh’s movie like the Breakfast Club.

You have also released the official video for the single, can you talk us through the clips treatment?
The idea was this moving Forward concept. We all evolve a grow and this is what the video is about. With the new sound and feel of FF5 and letting go of the past with Family Force 5.

How much do you feel video visuals add to a single release?
Oh I think it’s a must. You can convey a different emotion all together with visuals and get a different reaction out the audience than you can with just the song. And I think we captured that with the Fire on the highway video.

Along with releasing new music what else do you have planned over the course of the year?
We are definitely gonna shoot more videos. So we are writing those treatments out right now.
And we are getting in the studio to finish this record out.

So, can we expect an album from you soon?

Hopefully so.

Do you have any touring plans lined up?
Yes hopefully we will be hitting a city near you in the fall.

What are your long term career goals?

To rule the world.
