UK native Wolfe Jackson is here to warm our hearts with his newest single “Comfort Love”. The track is out now and we’re delighted to bring you the exclusive premiere here on CelebMix!
Dubbed “The UK’s hottest new export” by What’s Trending, Wolfe Jackson moved to America in 2014. He continued to work on his music while settling in New York to find his footing in the industry. He played multiple sold out shows in the city, including at Rockwood Music Hall. The singer-songwriter funded, composed, and co-produced his debut single “Remedy” in 2017, with a $100 budget and only 48 hours!
After embarking on a crowd-funded U.S. tour, Wolfe headed out west to live in Los Angeles, California. Now he’s working on his next record Nobody Knows Me (Better Than You), set to release in late May. “Comfort Love” is the second single from this upcoming EP. It also includes the song “Photographs”, an emotional piano ballad, complete with a string section, that shines a spotlight on Wolfe’s incredible vocals. It has garnered over 12,000 streams on Spotify! The new EP is said to showcase Wolfe’s versatility with the addition of some rock tracks.
“Comfort Love” is a heartfelt ballad about realizing you’re looking for an uncomplicated relationship. He sings about wanting “Nothing less and nothing more than someone to adore” in the track’s chorus. The song also touches on loneliness and how past relationships influence us going forward. The simplicity of the instrumentation reflects the message of the song itself and allows for Wolfe’s soothing vocals and emotional lyrics to shine.
