George Shelley shot to fame back in 2012 as part of the boyband Union J, on the ITV singing contest The X Factor! Since 2012 the 23-year-old has left the band and launched a presenting career.
He is now a fully fledged member of the Capital FM morning Radio show team, after he landed the plum job after his successful stint on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! Where he finished in second place behind former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison, in 2015.
Now the hunky singer is planning his pop comeback by launching his own solo career! The Bristol born anti-bullying campaigner has announced this week on Twitter that he will be announcing something special on November 13th-believed to be his debut solo album.
The teaser tweet sent out by the singer simply read “#GSOriginals”, and was accompanied by a short video showing symbols and the sound of a broken radio with the faint sound of George’s vocals. But if you look closely you can see that when the symbols disappear for a short while you can see the names of songs; ‘360’, and ‘Soldier’ are seen quite clearly.
