Spice Girl Geri Horner has announced she is pregnant.
Geri, 44, and husband Christian Horner will welcome their new arrival sometime in 2017.
Horner took to Instagram to announce the news earlier today (Monday, October 10th).
“God bless Mother Nature #mamaspice,” she wrote in the caption alongside a sketch of a pregnant woman.
Geri’s spokesman confirmed the news saying “The couple is overjoyed with the good news and cannot wait to welcome the newest addition to their family.”
Geri and Christian were married in St. Mary’s Church at Woburn Abbey in Bedfordshire back in May 2015.
Both Geri and Christian have children from previous relationships, Geri’s daughter Bluebell, and Christian’s three-year-old daughter Olivia from his relationship to former partner Beverley Allen.
Speaking of how motherhood changed her, Horner once said “having Bluebell changed everything.”
“You have someone else to think of; you want to pass on all the right lessons and be a good mother.”
