Monsta X has proven to be one of K-pop’s fastest-growing acts, having expanded their fanbase of Monbebes from Korea to all over the world.
CelebMix has had the chance to interview the group on several occasions, including last summer when they discussed their EP, The Connect: Déjà vu, which landed at number 2 on Billboard’s World Albums chart. The EP introduced fans to smash hit, “Jealousy,” which has since become one of Monsta X’s most recognizable singles.
Most recently, the group released “Shoot Out,” off of their album Take.1, Are You There?. The album debuted on the Billboard World Albums chart at No. 7. Soon afterward, Monsta X became the first K-pop group to ever perform at the iHeart Radio Jingle Ball, where we had the opportunity to speak with them again. Each time we talked with them, the guys couldn’t help but express their love for Monbebe.
